Kedarnath Dham Temple, located in Uttarakhand, India, is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva12. Situated on the Garhwal Himalayan range near the Mandakini river1, it’s at an altitude of 3584 meters12. The temple is open to the public only between April and November due to extreme weather conditions1. The temple is not directly accessible by road and has to be reached by a 22 kilometers uphill trek from Gaurikund1. It’s part of the revered Char Dham pilgrimage circuit12.
